MAX, the buzzed about pop-soul singer with over 1 million YouTube followers,  was announced as music industry vet and  Z100  host Elvis Duran’s Artist of the Month. Known for having his finger on the pulse of what’s about to break big in music, Elvis Duran’s past Artist of the Month honorees include Tori Kelly, A Great Big World, Ferras, Zendaya, Mikky Ekko, Conrad, Bea Miller, and many more.

The singer performed his hit single “Gibberish” this morning on Today  to celebrate the honor. MAX has also been named an MTV 2015 “Artist to Watch,” the network’s annual year-long spotlight for musical artists on the verge of superstardom. Signed to Pete Went’z DCD2 Records and currently on tour with Fall Out Boy and Wiz Khalifa on the Boys of Zummer Tour, MAX’s current single, “Gibberish,” features rapper Hoodie Allen and has reached over 6 million views on YouTube, 6 million plays on Spotify, and is up over 30 spots on the iTunes Pop Chart since his performance this morning.

Known for his acrobatic vocal range and energetic dance moves, Max is in the studio with Pharrell, as well as other top producers and songwriters working on his upcoming album, due for a late fall release. He’s a multi-faceted performer and actor, starring as Van Dyke Parks in Love & Mercy, the biopic about Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, and has even modeled with Madonna in an international Dolce & Gabbana campaign.
