With over 1 million YouTube followers, the buzzed about pop-soul singer MAX, has been announced an MTV 2015 “Artist to Watch,” the network’s annual year-long spotlight for musical artists on the verge of superstardom. Signed to Pete Wentz’s DCD2 Records and currently on tour with Fall Out Boy and Wiz Khalifa on the Boys of Zummer Tour, MAX’s current single, “Gibberish,” features rapper Hoodie Allen and has reached over 6 million views on YouTube and 6 million plays on Spotify.

Known for his acrobatic tenor, Max is in the studio (with Pharrell, among others!) working on his upcoming album, due for a late fall release. He’s multi-faceted performer and actor (he’s starring in Love & Mercy, the biopic about Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys), and has even starred with Madonna in an international Dolce & Gabbana campaign.

MTV’s “Artist to Watch” campaign connects fans and artists across every screen. Every two weeks, MTV features a new “Artist to Watch” with live performances, interviews, videos, song placements in shows and more, across its television (MTV, MTV2, mtvU, MTV Hits and MTV Jams) and digital platforms (MTV.com, MTV Artists, MTV News and the MTV App), as well as its social media channels (@MTV, MTV on Facebook, MTV on Instagram and MTV on Tumblr) that reach more than 220 million fans.
