The expansion of MTS farther west with the addition of the October 3 race in Mill Creek, Oklahoma signifies the increasing popularity of this form of off-road entertainment. Rapid growth of the sport has lead to MTS attendance numbers up 52% and sponsorships up 300%. Mega Truck drivers from states around the country, including New York, Michigan and Illinois, are registering to compete.

“The escalation of this sport has been phenomenal,” said Mega Truck Series' President Jeremy Forsyth. “We’re looking to expand to 10 races in 2016.”

“The addition of a live concert element to the race series coupled with the already family friendly race events have greatly added to the popularity and growth of MTS races,” said Shannon Houchins, Average Joes Entertainment CEO/President, which acquired 50% of MTS last year.

MTS launched its third season this year with the addition of live concerts at select races.
