The LYNOS remix of von Grey's "Katie" has premiered on Proximity. It can also be streamed HERE on SoundCloud. "Katie" is the first single from Panophobia, the new EP from Atlanta-based indie-alt band von Grey. The single is now available HERE and the EP will be released on August 14.

"When I was sent this remix, I was instantly blown away...Vocals reminded me a little bit of KRewella...LYNOS delivers this huge track," said Proximity.

LYNOS, a NYC native, is a producer and musician currently residing in Los Angeles. The son of two Julliard graduates, his musical training began with the violin at the age of four. Over time, his love for music continued to expand and he took up playing the guitar after one of his idols - Santana. Wanting to dive even deeper, he began his journey into the world of production. Fusing Motown, classic rock, hip-hop and blues, he has established his sound in the world of Future Bass & Pop.

von Grey - made up of sisters Annika (vocals, violin, guitar, keys), Fiona (vocals, guitar, violin, percussion), Petra (keys, electronic percussion, background vocals) and Kathryn (cello, bass pedals, keys, background vocals) - has toured nationally with the Indigo Girls, Lindsey Stirling, Ron Pope and Rusted Root, among others, and performed at such festivals as Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, SXSW, Gathering of the Vibes and Shaky Knees. They made their late night television debut on "Late Show with David Letterman" and performed on "Conan" in support of their self-titled debut EP.

The official video for "Katie" can be seen HERE. NYLON noted, "Von Grey, an all-sister indie-alt band, is shedding light on the complexity of domestic violence in a lesbian couple with the video for their song 'Katie'... Though the band doesn't appear in the video, their presence is felt: The intimacy of the song, through its lyrics and urgent melody, is tied thoroughly to the choreography. It's painful to watch, especially if you've ever been in an abusive relationship, but that's why work like this is so crucial."

Produced by Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra, A Rocket to the Moon),Panophobia is von Grey's most raw and urgent offering to date. While the EP's title means "fear of everything" and reflects the theme of insecurity or uncertainty threaded throughout the songs, Panophobia in fact represents von Grey's bold and undaunted progression into new sonic terrain. It follows 2014's Awakening, praised by PopMatters as "strange, ethereal pop music, unencumbered by genre."
