We previously shared critically acclaimed album tracks “Hunter” and “Bodies” which garnered national attention upon their release. Lead by a militant beat and soulful horns, “Warriors” thrusts listeners into an ethereal, intergalactic soundscape with a beat that will effortlessly command any dance floor.

“Warriors” premiered with PAPER Magazine today.

Hailing from Ulnes, a village of 500 people in the Nordic mountain valley of Valdres, Farao makes enchanting and adventurous pop music, tinged with celestial electronics and earthen orchestration. The now London-based Farao’s songs bear a vibrant surface beauty while taunting the depths within, reflecting the dramatic yet serene environments of her remote origin.

Farao’s vast and powerful army of tools – guitars, synths, organs, glockenspiel, sitar – dance at her fingertips, expertly interwoven with her ethereal vocals to create a suite of music that is otherworldly and entirely her own.
