Additionally, “Ballad Of Sugarcane Jane,” “Heartbreak Road,” and “The Game” have all held positions in the Top 50 on the Roots Music Weekly Top 50 Folk Song Chart.

The chart success doesn’t stop with just Sugarcane Jane’s Dirt Road’s End. Dwight Yoakam’s gospel-tinged cover of Anthony Crawford’s  “V’s of Birds” from his recently released Second Hand Heart album also hit the Americana Music charts!

Purveying a rich, homegrown brand of Americana, Sugarcane Jane’s sound is nothing short of organic yet unique, infused with inflections of gospel, country, jazz, and rock – steeped in honest songwriting. Both virtuosos in their own right, Anthony (who has worked/performed with Neil Young, Sonny James, Steve Winwood, Vince Gill, and Rosanne Cash, to name a few) is a master songwriter who plays acoustic guitar, mandolin, and a bass drum or stomp box, while Savana Lee plays rhythm guitar, tambourine, and snare drum, in addition to singing.

Performing throughout the Summer/Fall, Sugarcane Jane’s fans in the Bristol, TN area should mark their calendars for their upcoming performance at the Bristol Rhythm And Roots Reunion, which will also feature Steve Earle & The Dukes, Delbert McClinton, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and Moon Taxi. The festival will take place in historic downtown Bristol, at 416 State Street. For more information, please visit bristolrhythm.com.
