The video, which was directed by Mike Wargo, arrives as the outfit prepares to release their self-titled debut this Friday, Aug. 7 via Metropolis Records.

“Primitive Race has been a very rewarding experience,” said band founder/bass player Kniker. “Writing songs with amazing people rather than working behind the scene as I’ve done exclusively during my career has added another dimension in my love affair with music. I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve created.”

Two songs have been previously released, “Acceptance of Reality,” featuring Victor (via Mxdwn: http://bit.ly/1hk0ttQ) and “Follow The Leader” featuring Pop Will Eat Itself’s Graham “Crabbi” Crabb (via New Noise: http://bit.ly/1eU0J0V).  Digital pre-orders are available via iTunes (http://apple.co/1IjzKJN) and physical pre-orders via Amazon (http://amzn.com/B00ZGUMOC6).

Primitive Race participants: Chris Kniker, Erie Loch, Dave “Rave’ Ogilvie, Graham Crabb, Mark Gemini Thwaite (Peter Murphy, Mob Research), Tommy Victor, Joshua Bradford (RevCo, Simple Shelter), Mark Brooks (Metalocolypse, Warlock Pinchers, Night Club), Andi Sex Gang (Sex Gang Children) and Kourtney Klein (Nitzer Ebb, Combichrist, Army on The Dance Floor). Maor Appelbaum, whose credits include Faith No More’s Sol Invictus and Cynic’s Kindly Bent to Free Us, mastered the album.
