On May 17, 2015, the Hip Hop world was shaken when they lost one of their own, Queens rapper and Coke Boys member, Lionel “Chinx” Pickens. The rapper’s death shocked the nation with many industry heavy-hitters labeling him as the guy who had next. Killed inside his vehicle in his hometown of Queens, New York, REVOLT goes inside the unsolved murder of the aspiring rapper. Long Live Chinx, the hour-long REVOLT documentary, sheds new light on the unsolved case with interviews from the family and friends of the late rapper who give an inside look at his life, career and how he was planning to take over the rap game. One of the most heart-felt interviews comes from the rapper’s mother, Veronica Clinton, who discusses Chinx’s childhood, family life and how she was extremely proud of her son’s success. The documentary includes interviews with his wife Janellie Pickens, Sean “Diddy” Combs, French Montana, Meek Mill, Lil Durk, Shaheem Reid, The Coke Boys, and many more.

“Chinx was always the guy in the room that wasn’t playing around,” said REVOLT Chairman Sean “Diddy” Combs, in the documentary. “He was very upfront with me, he wanted to learn, and he wanted to know about the game.”

"The music industry lost an amazing artist way too soon,” said eOne Music. “He stood for everything that Hip Hop is. Chinx was a kid who came from nothing and was on his way to changing the future for himself and his family.”

“I get so frustrated, because I knew that this was his time,” said Coke Boys founder, French Montana, in the documentary. “He has an album coming out, it’s called Welcome to JFK.”

Long Live Chinx airs on REVOLT August 13, 2015 at 10:30 ET, the day before the launch of his posthumous album “Welcome to JFK”. Packed with 12 records, the LP had been long in the works before Chinx was tragically gunned down.
