August 28, 2015 – Los Angeles, CA – Toronto’s rising post-hardcore band Sparrows has released their new EP, Dragging Hell, today via New Damage Records. Fans can purchase the EP now at iTunes, Google Play and Amazon and stream the record in its entirety at Spotify and Rdio.

“Dragging Hell has been a long time coming for us,” vocalist/guitarist Dan Thomson recently said. “And it's almost a relief to have these songs coming out, in the best way possible. The time that surrounded the writing of these songs was one of the darkest times in my life, and it definitely comes out in the songs, both lyrically and musically."

Sparrows’ amalgam of classic post-hardcore and contemporary punk allow them to beautifully balance their sound between heavy and melodic. Tracks like “References To The Dead” will remind listeners of early 2000 era Thursday records while remaining fresh with a sound they’ve entirely made their own. Expect big things from Sparrows in the coming year.
