Following the release of their critically acclaimed debut LP Psychic Reader, Minneapolis indie rock trio Bad Bad Hats reveal the video for lead single “Shame” today via Stereogum.  The video offers a playful and humorous take on the track’s gritty garage feel, irresistible baseline, and wailing guitar, emulating the cultural meme of women laughing alone with salad.  In celebration of the new album, Bad Bad Hats are set on a national tour as lead support for Saddle Creek’s Mynabirds, bringing their energetic live performance from coast to coast.

“Shame” video premiered today w/ Stereogum.

Psychic Reader saw Bad Bad Hats named as one of SPIN’s “Artists to Watch,” and received accolades from the likes of NPR, FADER, PAPER, and many more.  Comprised of experimental beats, growling guitars, and catchy pop melodies, the band takes a refreshingly rebellious approach with lyrics that challenge gender conventions, emerging with a work that is both artistically honest and widely accessible.

Be sure to catch Bad Bad Hats in a city near you!
