Built to Spill have been touring in support of their current album Untethered Moon, which was released last April by Warner Bros. Records. Yet again, Doug Martsch & company have created a melodically rich song cycle that weaves memorable guitar textures with thoughtfully crafted lyrical passages open to the listener's own interpretation.

Untethered Moon was produced by Martsch and Sam Coomes (from the band Quasi) and recorded entirely with Martsch playing all guitars along with new band members, Steve Gere (drums) and Jason Albertini (bass).
