January 27, 2016 -- Seattle-based, eclectic psych rock trio, MASZER, announces their upcoming EP, DREAMSZ, due out March 18th. The five-track EP will feature the band’s previously released singles, “Fata Mirage,” “Passers By,” and “Roar,” plus two previously unheard tracks - “Pandora’s Box” and “California Sees You.” The CD also has grooves on the face and the final track can be played like vinyl.

Comprised of seasoned musicians, Tomer-David Rapaport (aka STITCX), Joseph Braley, and Katie Blackstock, MASZER is quickly gaining buzz as a hip, spiritualized psychedelic force with real staying power. The tracks “Fata Mirage” and “Passers By” have been played on KEXP.

DREAMSZ was produced by Rapaport and largely deals with themes of spirituality and existentialism. The band plans on donating at least 10% of the profits from DREAMSZ to an organization dedicated to helping independent musicians (Rapaport included), MusiCares.

The band is confirmed to play Treefort Music Festival 3/25-27 in Boise, ID and awaits a SXSW date confirmation.  More dates in Los Angeles, Seattle and Portland likely to come soon.

MASZER guitarist, Tomer-David Rapaport (aka STITCX), arrived in the U.S. from Tel Aviv ten years ago, and toured relentlessly with his bands Mother’s Anger (Dionysus Records). In the last three years, Rapaport, along with drummer Joseph Braley (who joined Mother’s Anger in 2007), took on world tours, opening for Black Sabbath and The Pixies, as well as playing major festivals and shows all over the world with their subsequent band, Reignwolf. Inspired by those years of musical excitement, David spent six months in his studio writing over a hundred songs in preparation for the next musical adventure. Teaming up with longtime friend and Seattle-based singer, Kate Blackstock, the trio dubbed themselves MASZER, meaning 'tithing' in Hebrew (מְעַשֵּׂר).
