Today, Sonya reveals “Hurricane” with Elmore Magazine, the second album single. The tunes upbeat hand claps and melodic vocals meld Sonya’s love of desert blues with West African Tuareg influences as she tackles sobering subject matter.

“It’s a song about the perpetual natural and man-made disasters we face as a species and how we do or don’t deal with them, explains Sonya.
