LOS ANGELES, CA (OCT 17, 2016) –  With nearly a million fans in attendance and amassing in excess of $50 million gross ticket revenue, the DCX MMXVI TOUR made its final North American run last week in Los Angeles, coming to a close at the legendary Hollywood Bowl.  Following the show’s conclusion, THE DIXIE CHICKS were presented a plaque from Live Nation commemorating the tour’s massive success.  The group will then take their momentum across the globe to Australia in March 2017 under the banner of DCX MMXVII TOUR.

Last year’s November announcement of the DCX MMXVI Tour created a fan frenzy for tickets, quickly becoming one of Live Nation’s highest-selling tours of the summer and prompting the band to add additional dates to the already massive 40-city run.  The tour also received an overwhelming amount of critical acclaim from outlets like Rolling Stone, New York Times, Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, NPR, Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post.
