BALTIMORE, MD | OCTOBER 13, 2016: Baltimore's Megosh recently announced the release of their debut full-length album, titled Apostasy, which has been set for release on 12/16/16 with Outerloop Records. The announcement came shortly after the band announced their signing to Outerloop Records, in partnership with Cooking Vinyl. Today, the band is thrilled to unveil the debut track from Apostasy, "I Stole From The Dead," exclusively with New Noise Magazine. View the lyric video to the track here. This is what the band had to say about "I Stole From The Dead": "This song is actually about bettering yourself, admitting your flaws and pushing out the negative in our lives. Can you admit the worst thing you've ever done? We can! But which one did it!?" -  Josh Grosscup

With a set of high-energy intelligent songs, Megosh has notably exploded on to the scene. Their music is melodic with post-progressive elements and frequent forays into the territory of alternative metal, but with an undeniable pop sensibility. Megosh somehow fuses these eclectic ingredients into a surprisingly cohesive stew - a sound that is clearly their own. Impressive and complex instrumental material will certainly appeal to the musician but, with Megosh, song craft still reigns and their creative use of rhythm and catchy melodies are certain to captivate a wide audience. On top of all this, the front line serves up tasty three-part harmonies, something rarely heard on today's rock scene.

Head to New Noise Magazine today to check out the debut track from Apostasy titled, "I Stole From The Dead." Pre-orders for Apostasy will be live tomorrow, 10/14/16 with an instant download of "I Stole From The Dead." Stay tuned for more from Megosh ahead of the album's 12/16/16 release.
