October 28, 2016 - LOS ANGELES, CA - Today, alternative band The Federal Empire have released their debut EP, The American Dream. Prior to the release, the band shared two acclaimed singles: "I Never Liked Your Friends", which was called "liberating and jubilant while at the same time being downright scathing" by All Things Go, and "The American Dream", which was praised by BuzzBands LA, who wrote, "If 'The American Dream' isn't the kind of outsized song that has big crowds waving their arms, maybe it'll give people food for thought." On top of all this, the singles were recently added to a number of official Spotify playlists, including New Music Friday and Weekly Buzz. Fans can purchase the album now on iTunes. Next month, The Federal Empire will be hitting the road with violinist and performance artist, Lindsey Stirling. The string of dates will kick off on November 1st in Clearwater, FL, and wrap on November 12th in Phoenix, AZ. Prior to this, the band will be playing at the Roxy Theatre with The Atomics on October 19th and at KINK FM's Snowvana in Portland alongside The Dandy Warhols on October 21st. See below for a full list of dates.

Just last week, the LA-based trio also released "Hold On & Believe", a collaborative single with Dutch producer, Martin Garrix. Fans can now stream the song HERE, or check out The Federal Empire's acoustic take on it, HERE.

The Federal Empire is a Los Angeles-based trio fronted by Chad Wolf, of the multi-platinum selling band, Carolina Liar. Joined by McKay Stevens on synths / programming and Keith Varon on guitar, The Federal Empire infuse classic Americana songwriting with electronic composition and anthemic gang vocals, making for a truly one-of-a-kind sound.

Wolf, Stevens and Varon initially joined forces after a publisher requested they write songs for a number of mainstream pop acts. After writing just two tracks together, the three realized they had undeniable songwriting chemistry and decided to create a project of their very own. Hence, The Federal Empire was born.

The band has already generated quite the buzz since their inception. Over the past few months, they have played School Night LAand booked gigs with notable acts including Lindsey Stirling and American Authors. With one Grammy nomination, multiple Top 10 Billboard hits and major radio successes under their collective belt, The Federal Empire are now ready to unleash their debut EP, The American Dream on October 28th.
