"Thirteen expansive, textural tracks that span indie folk to country rock and blues,” says Culture Collide. "With each song the band taps into a range of influences," notes Glide. "And the voice of frontman Andrew Taetz is a force that’s impossible to ignore with its ability to be emotional one second and freewheeling the next.” Album standout "Make Me New" tells of cautious optimism in the face of adulthood and Consequence of Sound dubs it a, “sweetly rolling ballad, whose textures and earnestness at times evoke early Fleet Foxes.”
