(New York, NY) – November 18, 2016 – Platinum-selling recording artist KIIARA continues her reign over 2016 with the official remix to her hit single ‘Gold’ featuring hip hop heavyweight LIL WAYNE.  The rapper’s signature slurred-out vocals are a fitting addition to the track’s distinctive glitch-pop beat, his verse culminating in a perfectly harmonic finale between the two artists.  ‘Gold’ is the singer’s debut platinum-selling single and continues its ascent up the charts, currently sitting at #5 on Billboard’s Pop Songs Chart and breaking into the top 15 on the Hot 100.  ‘Gold (feat. Lil Wayne) (Remix)’ is available to stream now at Kiiara’s official SoundCloud and YouTube.

Kiiara closes out her incredible 2016 with a major North American headline tour, which kicked off November 3rd at Los Angeles’ Echo and concludes this Tuesday at New York’s Le Poisson Rouge.  Although her first headlining tour, the trek has already received support from press, with Fuse declaring, “Kiiara struck ‘Gold’ at West Hollywood’s Troubadour,” writing, “She serenaded the room with lyrics that expose her edge through breathy notes that remain poised and almost unaware of their power. Her cool was unshaken even as she sang about heartbreak that feels undeniably real.”  Denver’s 303 Magazine describes Kiiara as “commanding the crowd to want so much more,” creating, “a lot of curiosity and anticipation for what direction she’ll go from here”.   Support throughout comes from Cruel Youth and Lil Aaron. Kiiara has received a storm of media attention in recent months, with Rolling Stone naming the Wilmington, IL-native among 2016’s “10 New Artists You Need To Know,” hailing her “minimalist, glitchy anti-pop with the perfect rhythm for any party” and noting that “‘Gold’ drips, drops and shines like nothing else this year.” “’Gold,’ a collaboration with producer Felix Snow, takes cues from icy R&B and from glitched-out, spacey dance music,” wrote Stereogum, “but it also has the wide-open heart of a classic pop song.” “Her songs pan out like anthems to unapologetic party kids everywhere,” declared V Magazine, while The Guardian named “Gold” as its “Pick of the Week,” writing, “(Kiiara’s) chopped and screwed vocals sit so perfectly in the track’s jerky electro that you almost forget they’re there.”

The singer’s debut single most recently reached RIAA platinum certification and boasts over 350 million streams worldwide.  The music video for ‘Gold’ has seen similar success with over 46 million views to date.
