Los Angeles, CA -- Toasting to 20 years as a label, brand, and global tastemaker, Dim Mak has been on a relentless quest around the world in 2016. To celebrate the occasion, Dim Mak is proud to present its official 20th Anniversary Merchandise collection. Two decades of shape-shifting records, legendary parties and unrelenting fun have been manifested into numerous limited edition merchandise options including our commemorative 20th Anniversary Compilation (Vinyl + CD + digital formats), custom SOL REPUBLIC x DIM MAK headphones, and our capsule collection collaboration with top lifestyle brand RVCA.

Dim Mak is turning the clock back to the glory days of vinyl when you could go out, physically pick up a record, and take it home with you. Out in select stores on Black Friday (November 25, 2016), including Amoeba, Rasputin Music, Rough Trade, Newbury Comics, Waterloo Records, and Zia Records, the commemorative CD and vinyl packages take you on a journey through four distinct musical eras (punk/hardcore, indie rock, electro, electronic dance music) that saw the brand introduce millions of fans to once-upcoming acts like Bloc Party, The Chainsmokers, Klaxons, The Gossip, Deorro, Keys N Krates, and MSTRKRFT. The CD highlights 20 seminal Dim Mak catalog tracks (hand-picked by Aoki himself) in an embossed Digi-Pak with custom “XX" die cut and features the exclusive bonus track “The Bloody Beetroots - Warp 2.0 (feat. Steve Aoki)”. The vinyl, which includes an encoded download card for “Warp 2.0,” boasts 4 songs (one from each era of Dim Mak) on a 12-inch 180 gram marbled vinyl in a printed sleeve, a gatefold jacket and a custom "XX" die cut. Both the CD and vinyl also contain a commemorative booklet with handwritten commentary from Steve Aoki and a visual 20 year history via rare photos from The Cobra Snake, Caesar Sebastian, Rony’s Photobooth, Neil Favila, and more.

Since its 1996 launch out of Steve Aoki’s UCSB college apartment, DIM MAK has grown to become a leading independent record label and renowned lifestyle influencer. After Aoki kicked off Dim Mak’s 20th Anniversary celebration tour in March at Miami Music Week and Austin’s SXSW, he brought the tour around the world, visiting Amsterdam, Barcelona, Chicago, Ibiza, Malta, Mexico City, Montréal, New York City, and other global hotspots. In the midst of the madness, Aoki teamed up with RVCA founder PM Tenore for the RVCA x DIM MAK 20th Anniversary Collaboration, merging the worlds of music and fashion to create a limited edition capsule collection (view here).

Dim Mak is also offering a VIP Bundle that features the official 20th Anniversary CD and vinyl both signed by Steve Aoki. Available for pre-order now, the VIP Bundle also includes one pair of SOL REPUBLIC x DIM MAK V10 headphones, a RVCA x Dim Mak Black Beanie, Dim Mak 20th Anniversary towel, a custom Dim Mak USB stick, and Dim Mak 20th Anniversary stickers. Many of these items will be available at the Meet & Greets and pop-ups at our 20th Anniversary shows in Maui and Oahu December 8th and 9th, respectively.
