(November 18, 2016 - New York, NY) Like only he can, DJ KHALED has assembled an all-star lineup of A-list talent, including Nicki Minaj, Future, Rick Ross, and August Alsina, for a very special powerhouse performance of his hit single “Do You Mind” during the 2016 American Music Awards. This marks his very first appearance on stage at the awards show.

It’s been a banner year for the multi-platinum artist, music industry visionary, innovative influencer, mogul, mega-producer, and “Anthem King.” After bowing at #1 on the Billboard Top 200, his ninth full-length album, MAJOR KEY [We The Best Music/Epic Records], has achieved an RIAA Gold certification in less than six months, becoming “one of only 5 R&B/Hip-Hop Albums world-wide released in 2016 to earn a certification”. In addition, the album features the platinum-certified “For Free” [feat. Drake] and “I Got The Keys” [feat. Jay Z & Future].

Another first, KHALED rounds out his 2016 victory lap with the release of his highly anticipated first book THE KEYS via Crown Archetype, an imprint of Penguin Random House’s Crown Publishing Group. This indispensable tome expands on the famous philosophical musings that made him the “Most Powerful Celebrity on Snapchat.” It also chronicles stories of his life and unveils all of the “major keys” to success. Moreover, he opens up about the meanings behind his hashtaggable catch phrases such as “another one.”

With MAJOR KEY and THE KEYS, KHALED had 2016 on lock. His influence remains inescapable. Just wait until 2017…
