The making of Fallin’ Like Snow was a worldwide voyage taking Jaymay everywhere from the Czech Republic, where she recorded with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, to New York and Los Angeles to record with choir groups. Jaymay shares,  “I really took a gamble on this record, but Christmas is forever and I wanted to offer a new spin on the songs we have been long familiar with and inspire hope and humor at a time when they are much-needed.”

During her brief relocation to Los Angeles, Jaymay saw a play about Irving Berlin, who penned “White Christmas”,one of the best-selling songs of all time. Soon after, producer Daniel Belardinelli fatefully approached Jaymay to collaborate and the New Yorker soon found herself inspired to pen songs about winter while gazing at palm trees in a Venice Beach studio.

Fallin’ Like Snow is Jaymay's second release of 2016. Both her forthcoming December record and summer's To Tell The Truth offered Jaymay's longtime fans a thorough glimpse into the trials and tribulations that bookended her creative process for the last eight years and involved them in her process as well. With the kickoff of her PledgeMusic campaign, Jaymay rallied their support to share this music and donated a portion of the proceeds to The Center for Discovery where her sister Cassie, who passed away five years ago, went to school.
