Known for taking something and turning it on its head, Spirit Animal continue their musical domination with a holiday tune perfect for everyone who’s already had enough of the repetitive seasonal standards. “Come To Christmas” is a dirty alt-rock record about yuletide dysfunction: "You think your family's bad?,” the band asks, “COME TO CHRISTMAS at my house." Today, Spirit Animal released a limited edition 7-inch for the song, mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Pink, The 1975), that includes fan favorite "Regular World" on the B-side. The rambunctious music video follows singer Steve Cooper on his hazy journey of anti-holiday festivities – from getting smashed in the head with a beer bottle on the beach by Santa, to an intimate baby pool celebration on an NYC apartment rooftop.

The brainchild of explosive singer Steve Cooper, drummer Ronen Evron, bassist Paul Michel, and guitarist Cal Stamp, Spirit Animal draws on a range of influences, from songwriting greats Tom Petty and the Talking Heads, to pop-rock pioneers The Killers and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The result is a catalog of earworm jams both familiar and boundary pushing. Their 2016 single, “Regular World” off the World War IV EP, has garnered over 3 million streams, a stellar follow up to “The Black Jack White” (which garnered over 1 million streams of its own) and “BST FRNDS,” which aired on mtvU.

In addition to their undeniable music, Spirit Animal’s live show is an experience. They are entertainers in the truest sense, with concerts built for fist-pumping arena-goers. Spirit Animal caught the attention of Wind-Up Records and signed a deal with the New York-based indie label before hitting the studio to finish their forthcoming full length.
