DECEMBER 9th, 2016 - SAN DIEGO, CA - In the words of Buddy the elf, "the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear". Luckily, The Frights have got just the song. Fans can now purchase the band's holiday hit, "Christmas Everyday" on iTunes or stream the song on Spotify.

Be sure to also check out the band's festive music video for the song here.

While America had its ups and downs this year, The Frights have much to celebrate. They released their Dangerbird Records debut, You Are Going To Hate This, which was produced and recorded with FIDLAR's Zac Carper. The album was met with fan and critic praise, and was featured with numerous publications that include the likes of Interview Magazine, Alternative Press, Consequence of Sound, BrooklynVegan, Stereogum, FLOOD Magazine and more.

The band toured the country multiple times with bands like Hunny, The Soaks, Gymshorts,  SWMRS and FIDLAR. They were a part of festivals such as SOS Fest in Austin, TX, Orange County's Beach Goth Festival, Uncool Fest in Berkeley, CA and more. They hosted their own festival - You Are Going To Hate This Fest. It was so successful that they are throwing another one on February 18th, 2017 at SOMA in San Diego, CA which will be hosted by Zac Carper and include performances from The Garden, Plague Vendor, The Buttertones, Culture Abuse, The Soaks, The Regrettes and more.  Tickets are available now at https://tickets.somasandiego.com/?show_id=2173
