Elektra/Atlantic recording artist Kaleo’s extraordinary American invasion continues with this evening’s kickoff of their first US headline tour. The “Way Down We Go Tour,” presented by SiriusXM’s The Spectrum, gets underway tonight at Nashville, TN’s Mercy Lounge and then continues through mid-March (see attached itinerary). Much of the trek is sold out, with a number of cities forced to upgrade to larger venues to accommodate the band’s growing number of US fans. Support throughout comes from Atlantic recording artist firekid, who earlier this week released the video for his single “Magic Mountain.”

Kaleo’s latest single, “Way Down We Go,” is impacting alternative radio now having already ascended to the top 10 at Triple A radio outlets nationwide.  The song has already been added to SiriusXM’s AltNation, and the band will perform the song next month on the March 10th installment of TBS’s Conan, marking their US national TV debut. Team Coco is heralding the performance with today’s world premiere of the new track, “I Can’t Go On Without You,” arriving tomorrow at all DSPs and streaming services.

Last week, Kaleo released a video for “No Good,” their track on “VINYL: MUSIC FROM THE HBO® ORIGINAL SERIES – VOLUME 1,” Atlantic Records’ first soundtrack companion to the blockbuster new HBO® series from Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger, and Terence Winter. The video – which premiere via Rolling Stone – sees the Icelandic rock band performing live at the largest vinyl pressing facility in the country, Nashville’s famed United Record Pressing. Directed by Country Music Television Award-winner Shaun Silva (Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts), “No Good” is streaming now at Kaleo’s official YouTube channel, Kaleo Music.

“I Can’t Go On Without You” precedes Kaleo’s hugely anticipated Elektra/Atlantic debut album. Recorded alongside producer Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, James Bay), the as-yet-untitled collection will arrive this summer. For updated news and information, visit www.officialkaleo.com.

Kaleo will return to the North American live arena circuit in May with an itinerary that includes headline dates across the country as well as performances at a series of summer festivals. Highlights include Atlanta, GA’s Shaky Knees Festival (May 13th), Gulf Shores, AL’s Hangout Music Festival (May 21st), Napa, CA’s Bottlerock Festival (May 27th), George, WA’s Sasquatch! Music Festival (May 29th), and Dover, DE’s Firefly Music Festival (June 17th). Additional summer live dates will be announced soon.
