(New York, NY- February 26, 2016)- After releasing a pair of critically-acclaimed EPs that have press calling him a “rising talent (Complex)” and “up-and-coming soulful singer (Billboard)” and drew acclaim as “eccentric, electric and pretty addictive music (MTV),” singer-songwriter MAX announced the release of his full-length debut ‘Hell’s Kitchen Angel’ today, due out April 8 on Pete Wentz’s DCD2 Records. The singer also surprised fans with a video for the hair-raising single “Holla”, featuring a cameo by Wentz himself. The album is currently available for preorder and comes with an instant download of the tracks “Holla”, “Gibberish” and “Wrong”.
Hell’s Kitchen Angel sees MAX collaborating with top songwriters, producers and artists to create an eclectic mix of pop, soul and hip hop that showcases the singer’s acrobatic vocals. Jon Bellion (Eminem and Rihanna’s “Monster”), Jake Sinclair (Fall Out Boy’s ‘American Beauty/American Psycho’ and Sia’s ‘This Is Acting’) and Jonas Jeberg (Pussy Cat Dolls, Jordin Sparks) all collaborated with the singer and co-wrote tracks on the album. Guest vocals come courtesy of rising rapper Lil Uzi Vert, LA-based rapper Sirah and hip hop artist Hoodie Allen, best known for rapping over infectious viral hit “Gibberish”

Following his DCD2 Records signing, MAX has seen mainstream and sales success, with over 100,000 units of his single “Gibberish” have sold. The track was selected for the YouTube Music Awards alongside songs by Ed Sheeran & Charli XCX and MAX was nominated for Best Breakthrough Artist and Original Song for the 2015 Streamy Awards. MAX wrapped a massive 20+ date Boys of Zummer Tour with Fall Out Boy, Wiz Khalifa and Hoodie Allen and closed the year by dropping Wrong (DCD2 Records), an infectious four-song EP featuring Patrick Stump, Travie McCoy and Lil Uzi Vert. He followed that with the release of “Wrong (RyanEXOE Remix)” feat. Taylor Bennett just a few weeks ago, declared a “fantastic remix” by Complex.
MAX kicked off a national tour on Wednesday with pop sensations R5, and is accompanying them on their 20+ city run.
