(LOS ANGELES, CA) February 15, 2016 –MAX and Ed Sheeran were the surprise special guests at Hoodie Allen’s sold-out show at LA’s Fonda Theater for his national “Happy Camper” tour this past Saturday, with MAX joining the rapper for a high-flying performance of their viral hit “Gibberish”.

Released on MAX’s 2015 Ms. Anonymous EP, the funk-tinged track was a crowd-pleaser and welcome addition to the set list, with MAX bounding and jumping across the stage in time with the music. Ed Sheeran later hit the stage to perform the duo’s single “All About It”. “Gibberish” recently passed 30 million streams and peaked at #1 on Billboard Twitter Realtime Trending 140 Chart, in addition to scoring a 2015 Streamy Award nomination for Best Original Song and recognition at the 2015 YouTube Music Awards, where MAX and Hoodie Allen performed the track live. Recently the track was re-imagined by Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy and Travie McCoy on MAX’S ‘Wrong’ EP, out now.

The performance marks what’s been an incredibly busy month for the singer. MAX dropped “Wrong (RyanEXOE Remix)” feat. Taylor Bennett just a few week ago, declared a “fantastic remix” by Complex. Fans can check out his debut album on Pete Wentz’s DCD2 Records this year, produced by Pharrell and with creative input from Wiz Khalifa. He kicks off a national tour with pop sensations R5 on Feb. 24, and has been making the rounds at GRAMMY events this past week including Emporio Armani Sounds and L.A. Confidential’s cover party in between preparing for the tour.

Catch MAX as an official contributor to the GRAMMYs Snapchat on the red carpet providing commentary on the ceremony and keep an eye out for his upcoming full-length album due in 2016.
