Another Century is proud to announce that New Years Day, 9ELECTRIC, and XO Stereo will be a part of "The Congregation: Deconstruction" event at the iconic Exhibit A Gallery in Los Angeles. All bands on the lineup will be performing acoustic sets (first time ever for NYD) and are excited to celebrate a night of art and music. The event takes place on March 26th (This Saturday) at 7pm and will also feature art from Lizzy Gonzalez, Anabel DFlux, Richard Villa III, Ian Gray, Savannah Bright and others. Admission is a $15 donation to support the arts at Exhibit A Gallery, which can be made at the door

When creative people get together the innovations in the world are moved forward to new heights, in a rather mundane world. An artist brings the world color, self-expression, and exploration. The greatest things in our human existence, outside the beautiful creations of our natural world, were not simply created by men, but men and women that thought outside the box, saw what was below the surface, and expressed it in a way others then could understand and relate to. Artists have a calling from a divine inspiration to act. To take up arms, with their chosen weapons of creativity, and to march forward and execute their calling. Reason and logic of self-preservation have no place in the creative mind of an artist. They must forge forward regardless of the consequences to the devotion of their calling. Art is always first, everything else in life is second. Love, friendship, relationships, money, sleep and even eating, are at times life's obstacles that seem to be annoyances of an unwelcome distraction. The Artist is constantly battling between the conscious and subconscious mind. Rewarding themselves for work and perseverance of having a better understanding of who we really are. The products of their discoveries are what the rest of the world is given. These unsolicited gifts from the creative minds are what is shared as art. The artist is the medium between the supernatural and the natural world. They translate the unknown to the known. They uplift and inspire millions of the lost. They give voice to the voiceless. Why? because they have to, and are compelled to without any hesitation. They do this for the ART and for YOU! The congregation is not only for the artists to congregate with one another, but an opportunity for fans to share in the experience, in a close symbiotic environment. To give thanks and appreciation to each other. Where we are one in our cause, to evolve mentally, emotionally and creatively together.
