New York, NY – Party Smasher Inc, the multi-disciplinary home for the DIY creative, is proud to announce their 2016 album release schedule.  With highly-anticipated releases from Primitive Weapons, Giraffe Tongue Orchestra and The Dillinger Escape Plan, the label has an exciting year in store for rock fans.

Brooklyn-based, Primitive Weapons’, THE FUTURE OF DEATH will see its release on April 15th.  The band recently released a single called “Night Eyes” via Soundcloud.

Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, comprised of Ben Weinman of Dillinger Escape Plan, Brent Hinds of Mastodon, Pete Griffin of Dethklok and Thomas Pridgen of The Mars Volta, announced recently that Alice In Chains’ frontman, William Duvall will be handling vocal duties on the project.  "Brent Hinds, William, and myself have all been friends for a long time,” says Weinman. “Finally finishing the GTO record with William completes the puzzle. He is a man of diverse talents, and this bands gives him the opportunity to spread his wings. I was thrilled to see how well he stepped up to the plate with the Alice In Chains gig, and now with G.T.O he has the opportunity to revisit some of his punk and prog roots and showcase his full range."  Previously rumored to be fronting the band, Juliette Lewis contributed backing vocals to several tracks.  The album will see a summer 2016 release.

Dillinger Escape Plan’s debut EP, UNDER THE RUNNING BOARD, will be reissued on 10” vinyl March 4, 2016 via Relapse Records.  This will kick off a big year for the critically acclaimed band, who are presently in the studio recording a brand new album to be released this summer on Party Smasher Records.

Of this DEP release, Weinman says  "This new record has been very trying. Musically it was written during the darkest most difficult time in some of our lives. We wrote and recorded this record, essentially, living in a dungeon with no sunlight or contact with other people, on and off, for over 2 years. Drums were done in LI at vudu studios and I literally slept on the couch next to the console and didn't leave the studio until Billy had nearly destroyed himself tracking. Now we are rounding out the rest of the record at Party Smasher Studio in NJ with long-time friend and producer, Steve Evetts. We track from 9pm to 6am, sleeping during the day. I only see an hour of daylight. I will not commence a normal life until this record is finished. It has been important for me to completely engulf myself in this process without too much outside influence."

To further underline Weinman’s dedication to his craft and significance in his community, VICE will be featuring him on their new series for Go90 called Autobiographies -http://www.vice.com/read/autobiographies-trailer-go90  Run date to be announced.
