“Ride,” the latest single from Fueled By Ramen recording group Twenty One Pilots, has ascended to #1 at Modern Rock radio outlets nationwide – the band’s second time topping the format in 2016. The companion video for “Ride”– directed by longtime collaborator Reel Bear Media – has garnered over 30 million views via Twenty One Pilots’ YouTube channel as the track quickly follows the breakout success of the duo’s blockbuster single, “Stressed Out,” which spent three months at #1 on the Modern Rock chart also reaching #1 at Top 40 and Hot AC formats. Certified 2X Multi-Platinum by the RIAA, “Stressed Out” is continuing its Top 5 reign on Billboard’s “Hot 100” and is currently Top 5 at Top 40 and Hot AC formats.
Twenty One Pilots will follow last year’s sold out “BLURRYFACE TOUR” with their most epic headline trek to date. “BLURRYFACE” – which follows Twenty One Pilots’ 2013 debut, “VESSEL” – made a stunning chart debut upon its 2015 release, entering the SoundScan/Billboard 200 at #1 with total sales exceeding 147,000. The album further served as the duo’s international breakthrough, reaching the top 5 in Canada as well as the top 20 in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. “BLURRYFACE” has produced the RIAA certified gold single “Tear In My Heart” along with the RIAA certified 2x Multi-Platinum “Stressed Out” while the band’s Fueled By Ramen debut LP “VESSEL” has been certified gold by the RIAA, spawning a trio of gold certified favorites in “Holding On To You,” “Car Radio” and “House of Gold.”
