Morgan Myles released her debut EP to little fanfare, but this little disc has some big songs that showcase Myles vocals and delivery.  Disc opener "Whiskey Dreaming" has enough twang to call it country, but the tempo of the track mixed with her smoky vocals allow this song to cross over genres and be embraced by anyone that has experienced love, loss, and chasing a heartache with one more shot.  "Queen Of Hearts" features more of a country feel to it, even when Morgan's vocals shift to a smoldering blues sound and feel.  The chorus is catchy and should come across well live.  "We Won't Go Home" is a fun track that gives us a poppier vocal from Myles, without straying from her country vibe.  The musical accompaniment keeps the song flowing nicely through the verse and into a contagious chorus that has a slight do-wop feel to it.  "Adeline" brings a modern country flare and mild rock groove to the party and is one of the tracks that grabbed my attention and prompted me to replay it over again a few times.  The guitars are subtle, yet driving, while the rhythm section delivers a solid tempo.  "What You Do To Me" is a cool track that marries Morgan's smooth vocals with a funk-driven melody and vibe.  Myles' vocals are top notch on this track and show off her different textures and tones.  Closer "Nobody Better Than You" takes us out on a slower and softer note, without detracting from the feel of the disc.  While each track has roots in country, there is enough rock, blues, pop, and talent to please any music lover - I cannot wait to see what Morgan can do with a complete disc of material and hope she makes her way to Detroit.  I can only imagine how these songs sound live.
