New York, NY: Award-winning recording artist Rachael Sage premiered her newest song "Heaven (Is A Grocery Clerk)" yesterday on Glide Magazine. The track is the third release off of her forthcoming full-length studio album, Choreographic, due May 20 (MPress/ILS/Caroline).
Somehow, amidst all his challenges Riki always managed to keep painting. He made new work and shared it constantly, including a piece he made for me inspired, in his words, by a "hot checkout guy I met at a grocery store". I wrote this song as a tribute to my amazing friend [and] the challenges he faced...Riki passed away before I could share this recording with him, but he did hear me perform it live in San Francisco, and I'm grateful to have known him and been touched by his art." - Rachael Sage
