(Apr. 7, 2016 – New York, NY) Epic Records’ 18-year old Swedish sensation Zara Larsson has reached RIAA gold certification in the U.S. with “Never Forget You,” her global 6x-platinum #1 collaboration with co writer/producer MNEK. And the timing couldn’t be better, as Zara revs up for back-to-back TV performances next week: April 12th on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and April 13th on The Today Show. These dates follow March appearances on Live With Kelly & Michael and Ellen.

“Never Forget You” is currently the #7 digital song in the U.S., #13-bullet at Pop radio, Top 5 on Shazam, and has totaled more than 90 million video views and nearly 200 million Spotify streams.  The song has captured traditional radio’s imagination as well: #13-bullet at Pop radio formats; #33-bullet at Hot AC; #38-bullet at Rhythmic.

Fittingly, Zara has dominated social and mainstream media alike, including coverage in: Time, Seventeen, People, Paper, Nylon, Spin, Id♥lator, and AdWeek.  She’s also launched an innovative beauty campaign with Clinique, that features an interactive music video for her single "Lush Life," which dominated international charts for all of 2015.  Zara performs the smash in four different genres –pop, dance, country, and acoustic – and each video corresponds with a unique shade of Clinique Pop Lip Color. With a prestigious resume including a performance at the Nobel Peace Prize concert, Zara became a household name in her native Sweden in early 2013. Conquering all of Europe came next, courtesy of her career-defining IFPI 10x-platinum #1 hit“Uncover.”  The controversial song challenged social norms; its video, shot in NYC’s East Village, has amassed over 84 million YouTube views to date.  As a result, Zara swept Best Female Artist awards in 2013, 2014, and 2015 at Rockbjörnen, Sweden’s premier annual music awards show.

About Zara Larsson: In pop-obsessed Sweden, Zara was thrust into the limelight as a 10-year-old, performing on the nation’s top televised talent show. Her killer combination of artistry, charm, and fresh-faced beauty decimated the competition—as did her self-assured renditions of Whitney Houston’s “The Greatest Love of All” and Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On.”  The latter became Zara’s first single, and its combined YouTube views top 15 million to date.

Within the next four years, Zara was signed to TEN Music Group. Then came the “Uncover” phenomenon, after which, in April 2013, Zara was personally signed to Epic Records by Chairman LA Reid.  Zara capped 2013 with a December performance of “Uncover” at the Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo, backed by a full orchestra and choir.

Zara now boasts two EPs –Introducing and Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself, both 2013 releases– and one album, 1, released in 2014. And she looks forward to taking hold in the U.S. as it will allow her to do what she loves best: perform live for as many people as possible.
