Los Angeles, CA – Funkin Matt delivers his boldest track yet with the future house prize “Aero.” Building with suave vocals from Chris Lie, the Norwegian producer abruptly destroys the bubbly breakdown melody with a left-of-center synth warbling drop.

Through diverse releases across Dim Mak, Fool’s Gold, Mad Decent, and Musical Freedom, Oslo-based Funkin Matt has become a go-to producer for some of the most influential DJ / label owners in the game. Dozens of his tracks have charted across the Beatport Top 100, such as “Alive” and “Elephant,” the latter racking up over 2 million streams. His stand out work earned him an official remix for Mariah Carey’s “You’re Mine,” which propelled her remix album to #1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Chart. He’s also been able to flex his unconventional stylings via guest mixes for both Diplo & Friends and Tiesto’s Club Life on BBC Radio 1.

Not their first collaboration, Matt and Chris Lie first linked in 2014 for “Let's Go Deep,” a radio sensation in Norway that allowed the producer to showcase a more subdued sound. Following last year’s “Flux” on Dim Mak, Funkin Matt delivers another essential dancefloor grove with “Aero.”
