LOS ANGELES, CA - Friday, May 13, 2016 -- Misadventures (Fearless Records), the fourth and long-awaited album by San Diego's Pierce the Veil, is finally in-stores today.

The album's release is met with the band on the covers of magazines like Alternative Press and the UK's Kerrang!, features on RollingStone.com, in Revolver, Outburn, Rock Sound, New Noise and more.

Early reviews have been glowing:  "'Misadventures' has proudly claimed the belt as Pierce the Veil's best offering to date." /Kerrang!, and from Alternative Press, "Pierce the Veil somehow sound as especially lavish and theatrical as Muse or Queen, but also punk as f*ck."

In addition, BBC Radio 1 tagged "Circles," the album's first single, as "The Hottest Record in the World," and the influential Vulture named it one of the "8 Best Songs of the Week."  In the two weeks that is has been available, "Circles" has been streamed nearly two-million times.  Not a bad start for a developing band's new album.

Misadventures is high-energy rock.   Lyrically, the album is a flood of emotions, recently revealed truths and reflections of new realities - the suicide of a past love, the Paris terror attacks, the online intimidation of a girlfriend by crazed fans, self-worth and an individual's ability to shine, and the challenge of a cunning betrayal.

Pierce the Veil will support the release of Misadventures with a 16-date U.S. tour where they will perform the entire new album start to finish.  The tour kicks off on June 5 in Las Vegas, with dates in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, Detroit, Cleveland, Phoenix and San Diego already sold out.

ABOUT PIERCE THE VEIL: Six years ago, Pierce the Veil was playing small clubs and side stages at Warped and other music festivals.  With the 2012 release of their album Collide with the Sky, PTV exploded, selling out North American and UK headline tours in 2012, 2013, and 2014, and headlining 2015's Warped Main Stage.  The band spent years actively developing relationships with its fans through meet'n'greets while on tour (numerous poignant stories told to the band by fans have found their way into PTV's songs) and extensive social media outreach, all of which has established the band's massive, passionate and fiercely loyal fan base.  The band and its members have accumulated north of 5.5-million Facebook "likes," as well as 4.5 million Twitter and 4.5 milliion Instagram followers, and 200-million-plus YouTube plays (the "King for a Day" video alone is at more than 66-million views).  Collide has been streamed more than 110 million times on Spotify, while the single "King for a Day" has logged 27-million Spotify plays and the single has been certified Gold.  The band has won multiple awards from Alternative Press, Revolver, Kerrang! and Rock Sound.
