June 6th 2016-St Petersburg, FL On July 8th, Electro/Industrial artist Ghostfeeder will release a new album entitled World Fameless on the label Distortion Productions.

World Fameless was constructed with the intention of making an immediately accessible, in-your-face collection of punchy, powerful songs. Many of the seeds for these tracks were planted while on tour last summer with En Esch. A laptop and a thousand miles of open road allows you a lot of writing time, and I think the intensity of playing live every night inspired me to inject a different, more visceral kind of energy into the album. After the conceptual nature of The Messenger, I was eager to return to a more concise songwriting style, intending for each track to be able to stand on its own as opposed to being an integral part of a greater narrative.

That being said, the album was written and organized in such a manner that it will still unfold as it is listened to. The deeper one goes into the track listing, the more intense and enveloping the record becomes both sonically as well as thematically." -Derek Walborn Composer and Vocalist

About Ghostfeeder: Ghostfeeder is the moniker of songwriter, programmer, and vocalist Derek Walborn. In his studio, he presses grinding guitars and get-up-and-dance bass lines through a filter of gritty synth leads and painstakingly calculated digital glitches. The end result is the sonic equivalent of dragging a lifetime of 8-bit video games and science fiction films across the sticky floor of your local rock music hall and then cleaning it up just enough to sneak past the bouncer at that dance club you’ve always wanted to get into.

Eager to provide fans, colleagues, and venues alike with an unexpected degree of professionalism, Ghostfeeder’s ever-evolving performance and presence makes an impression.

Thus far, Ghostfeeder has shared stages and venues with national acts including Blink 182, Powerman 5000, The Bunny The Bear, Genitorturers, Nonpoint, Royal Blood, Ludovico Technique, Leather Strip, and Filter. Thanks to overwhelming fan support, Ghostfeeder also played on the Ernie Ball Stage at the Van’s Warped Tour.

In February of 2014, Walborn, in collaboration with Chris Corner of IAMX, released a music video for the song “Just Like That,” propelling Ghostfeeder's music, and style into the international spotlight. Later that year, Ghostfeeder released “The Messenger,” a haunting, conceptual EP about alien abduction with the support of Beyond Therapy Records. In 2015, Walborn, along with guitarist/compatriot Luke Dangler, successfully wrapped a North American tour in direct support of En Esch, formerly of KMFDM.
