The infamously fierce, feminist pioneers came back into the spotlight upon the announcement of their documentary film, L7: Pretend We’re Dead, which will debut in the fall and was fully funded by fans across the globe via Kickstarter. Often credited as a leading force behind the grunge movement of the late ‘80s and for their influence on riot grrrl bands of the early ‘90s, the reaction to the announcement was far more electric than they could have expected and proved they haven’t lost an ounce of their unstoppable energy.
