(New York, NY) – June 22, 2016 – Following the release of his critically-praised, dynamic debut album ‘Hell’s Kitchen Angel’ in April, MAX debuted the video for his single “Basement Party” today. Showcasing the singer’s “piercing falsetto, the mark of a true male pop star (Teen Vogue)” the single tells the story of crossing from Brooklyn to Manhattan for a night out and nixing a visit to a trendy nightclub for a steamy, clothing optional basement party.

Featuring production by pop impresario Jon Bellion, the single made its TV debut when MAX performed on PIX 11’s Morning News program in May. The video is the latest in a string of creative ventures from the MTV “Artist to Watch” this year that includes releasing his debut album on Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz label DCD2 Records and being the subject of MTV documentary ‘Hell’s Kitchen Angel’. The documentary premiered on MTV Live last week to fan acclaim.

Among his accolades, after the launch of his single “Gibberish," which was a global streaming hit last year with over 50 million combined plays - MAX was named Elvis Duran’s Artist of the Month, KISS-FM ’s Artist of the Week, performed on NBC's TODAY show, and was nominated for Best Breakthrough Artist and Original Song for the 2015 Streamy Awards. MAX spent last summer on the road as a featured performer on the Boys of Zummer tour with Fall Out Boy & Wiz Khalifa, while this year he joined R5 on the road. His devoted fan base and original voice has given him an incredibly strong social media presence with over 1.2 million followers on YouTube, 400,000 followers on Twitter and almost 1 million likes on Facebook.

MAX is currently out on the “Basement Party” tour, crisscrossing the country and hosting intimate parties in the homes of dedicated fans. For full list of upcoming shows visit http://saymaxohhh.com/
