Five years after her impressive European multi-platinum debut, acclaimed singer/songwriter Selah Sue returns with anethereal and emotionally intricate second LP, Reason via Because Music. Striking the perfect balance between delicate and powerful, Reason expertly fuses the sounds of electro-soul with the languor of trip hop and verve of house beats, marking the discovery of Selah Sue’s true musical identity. VICE's Noisey premiered the video "Alone" and announced the album news HERE.

Her sophomore album Reason which includes "Alone", "Together" feat. Childish Gambino, "Won't Go For More" and "Reason" is out now.

Described by Selah as “an equation with many variables”, Reason was recorded in several studios across Belgium, London, Jamaica and Los Angeles, Reason features collaborations with the industry's most sought after producers including Rhye’s Robin Hannibal (Little Dragon, The Internet, Kendrick Lamar), Ludwig Goransson (HAIM, Childish Gambino, Chance the Rapper), Matt Schwartz (Massive Attack) and Troy Taylor (Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin).

Selah Sue told Billboard about writing her first "love song" and reflects her real-life experiences in finding love "Together" which features Childish Gambino HERE. Last week she offered up the video for "I Won't Go For More" which was filmed in the studio HERE, while the striking new video for "Reason", the title song of the album was premiered via FADER HERE. The video director Tim Erem created Rihanna's "Work" and Major Lazer's "Lean On" video's as well.

The album is available as a full, 18-track deluxe album stream, which is easy to share HERE.

“I didn’t want to lose the immediate and uncluttered quality of my songs, but I wanted them to be more elaborate, more ethereal also. I didn’t want my voice to be alone anymore”.
