LOS ANGELES, CA (June 2, 2016) - The New Regime has released a live performance video for his single "We Rise, We Fall" from the band's EP Exhibit B. There are absolutely no editing tricks in this live video, just purely extraordinary musicianship. Paste Magazine says the in-studio performance "brings [them] back to traditional rock and roll in the best way--to an era when expert musicianship and legendary live performances were the main objectives". The video uses GoPro cameras filmed from five different angles and is "simply musicians playing their instruments and playing them well." (Paste Magazine) Ilan Rubin, the mastermind behind The New Regime says, "I think it's important for fans to experience these songs live because it's showing a different perspective of the same song. The familiarity is there but the energy, experience, and sometimes interpretation is different." This is the first of eight live in-studio videos, which cover tracks from the albums Exhibit A and Exhibit B, that will be released throughout the summer. Fresh off the heels of a successful tour as direct support for veteran rockers The Used, The New Regime will travel to Europe next week to play several dates as openers for rock icons Muse. The New Regime's Ilan Rubin wraps his tour with The Used on June 5, 2016 in Santa Ana, CA and picks up with Muse in Copenhagen, Denmark on June 9, 2016. For more information on The New Regime, please visit: http://www.thenewregime.com/.

In late 2015 The New Regime wrapped a tour with LA rock band Dead Sara and indie rock band The Bots. Additionally, they released a music video for "We Rise We Fall" offExhibit B. The video was directed by award-winning director and photographer Tamar Levine, and Nine Inch Nails & How To Destroy Angels creative director and collaborator Rob Sheridan. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/uIxkdBKKLjQ.

Multi-instrumentalist/vocalist and songwriter, Ilan Rubin is best knownfor his drumming with Nine Inch Nails, Angels & Airwaves and Paramore, but it can be argued that his best work happens when this one-man-band is fronting and backing - The New Regime. Attendees of the upcoming tour with The Used will get a unique live music experience - with Rubin on guitar/vocals fronting a 3-piece band. The addition of a full band allows for a raw, dynamic representation of his music, packed with improvisations and embellishments expanding beyond the recorded material. Rubin's commanding stage presence will shock those used to seeing him behind a drum-set.

The New Regime released Exhibit B on March 31, 2015, which is available for purchase via iTunes.

Exhibit B is the name of The New Regime's new eight-song EP, which Rubin wrote and recorded almost entirely while touring with NIN in 2013-14. And it was on that tour that Rubin got to stretch his wings onstage as well. "When I first toured with Nine Inch Nails in 2009, Trent knew that I could play piano, so wherever there was a piano part, I would take it over," he says. "On the last tour, the band was down to a four-piece, so we needed to distribute parts as best we could. There were a lot of moments when I played bass and guitar and some keyboards. And I think that was a big help in getting people to see a bit more of what I'm about as a musician."

Given what his night job was at the time, you might expect the results of his day-lighting to sound Trent-influenced. Perhaps you'll find some of that in there, but you may be more immediately struck by the old-school classicism of Rubin's approach. Singles "Strong-Arm Tomorrow," "Where I've Headed All Along," "Mannequin" and "We, Rise, We Fall" can be streamed on Yahoo!, Entertainment Weekly, Kerrang! and Alternative Press, respectively.

Rubin topped the charts as Tom DeLonge's collaborator in Angels & Airwaves' The Dream Walker. Released this past December, The Dream Walker hit No. 3 on Billboard's Top Indie Album Chart and No. 5 on the Alternative Chart. It also went to No. 1 on iTunes in 14 countries. Additionally, he recently played drums on the Haim/M83Insurgent track, "Holes In The Sky."
