NEW YORK | JULY 19, 2016: Alternative Pop Duo HEIRSOUND, formed by Alexa San Román & Dane Petersen (formerly of Love, Robot) recently announced the release of their colorful debut EP, titled Merge, set for 8/5/16. Merge EP consists of 6 songs, each song represented by a color that has an aura and a feeling, creating the color wheel. Up to the EP's release, HEIRSOUND will be releasing a slew of music videos produced by San Román herself, each with the corresponding color as the theme. Today, HEIRSOUND has partnered with Bullett Magazine for the exclusive premiere of "Slow Motion" [ORANGE], which can be viewed here.

The video is a beautiful representation of the song's inspiring message to chase your passion, as it intimately follows San Roman's sister Sam in her element as a career photographer. "Slow Motion" was shot and produced by Alexa San Roman and friends across multiple landscapes including New York, Joshua Tree, CA, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Here is what Alexa San Roman had to say about shooting "Slow Motion": "The filming of this video was especially intimate as it was usually just Me, Dane, my sister Sam & best friend Kelsey.  My sister was going through a transition in her own life at the time & I felt like she was the perfect subject for our video considering its message so we just rolled with it.  She is a photographer & I wanted to make the video as real as possible so I basically just followed her around while we went on trips around the US.  Although this video is less straight-forward color wise, orange sunsets & fire tie our EP's theme into this music video.  This song, its message & video all mean a lot to us & we hope that our fans can connect with it the way that we do."

HEIRSOUND are an Alternative Pop Duo formed in New York in December '14 around the talents of singer/songwriters Alexa San Román & Dane Petersen while the members were still in transition from a previous musical endeavor. Built around the dueling vocals & guitars of Petersen & San Román, the two set out to create an ethereal sound that they can call their own. Merging together from opposite sides of the country (Petersen from CA, San Román from NY), the duo start their journey as HEIRSOUND with a colorful six-song debut EP titled Merge. First appearing on the public radar in October '15 with the single "Do It Over", the team's new sound, & grassroots fan base became clear following a few months of visual artwork posts/teasers. Shortly after the release of "Do It Over," the band dropped a new track titled "My Own," followed by the hypnotic single "Hoods Up." HEIRSOUND is a duo who let you into their own world sonically as well as visually. Always working together closely, Dane & Alexa are set to release their debut EP on 8/5/2016 while continuing to showcase their live performance in as many places around the world as possible. Merge EP was recorded at VUDU Studio, produced and mixed by Mike Watts, engineered by Frank Mitaritonna, Tom Happel & Mike Watts, and mastered by Joe LaPorta.

Until Merge EP is released on 8/5/16, head to Bullett Magazine for the exclusive music video premiere of "Slow Motion." Pre-order Merge here. Follow HEIRSOUND online to keep updated with new music, videos, and more.
