Exclusively distributed by Universal Music Group, ANGELS CUT will officially release their single “Smile” on August 12, 2016. The Humboldt county upstart just announced their new home with Bungalo Records / Universal, along with an upcoming performance headlining the 13th annual Hops in Humboldt County music festival! Taking place Saturday, August 27th in Fortuna's Rohner Park from 1 - 5 pm, tickets are available now for purchase at http://hopsinhumboldt.com/tickets.

ANGELS CUT guitarist Utah Blue commented the following on the newfound partnership with Bungalo/Universal:  “Working with Bungalo/Universal has been awesome. Like a lot of artists, we were gearing up to release our album independently, but after talking with the guys over there, it was just obvious. They really “got” our music and you can tell they believe in the ‘Cuts brand of rock and roll. Universal will release the title track "Smile" as our first single off the new album, and after that it's up to them and us the kick some ass!  We have a cool connection with VP Leo Rodgers, being that we're both from Northern California. He pumped us up with a handshake and a "let's do it for Norcal", and it was a done deal. We're stoked!”
