Guitar player and singer Lips says about the song: "Zombie Apocalypse is my personal favorite from the new CD...I love the feel and tempo which allows for melody and sheer power. I'm still finding it funny when I was asked "Zombie A coffee Lips?"

Drummer Robb Reiner adds: "A blood Rock / Sabbath inspiration of sorts ,... combined with slamming doom feel....the track is hypnotic in nature,....displaying a shredding of a guitar solo and has been fun to perform live!!! One of the many top tracks from "Anvil Is Anvil"!"
