NEWS: BROOKLYN'S FAMILY STREAM NEW ALBUM "FUTURE HISTORY"

Brooklyn-based progressive metal collective FAMILY are excited to share an advance listen to their upcoming July 15 release "Future History", which can be heard exclusively via Abort Magazine (Canada) and MetalSucks (U.S.).

Reuniting the production team from their electrifying 2012 debut effort "Portrait" - which includes engineering and mixing duties from Justin Mantooth (Unsane, Cave In), mastering by Alan Douches (Mastodon, Baroness, Torche) and production by bandleader Steven Gordon - the collective unit have put together a fiercely unique blend of classic rock flavor, behind-the-beat New Orleans groove, progressive rhythmic patterns, and modern metal bit with their new album "Future History".

Lauded as "a pounding, inherently brutal option that takes no prisoners" (Progressive Music Planet), "Future History" features 12 tracks conceptualizing a cinematic plot based on the evolution of the human race. The album additionally features guest appearances from David Castillo (Primitive Weapons, White Widows Pact, booker at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus Bar), Jesse James Madre (Tiger Flowers), and Mike Keller (Meek Is Murder).
