After being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year (the very first time they were nominated), the legendary rock and roll band with horns, CHICAGO, will be featured on two national TV shows in one week!

On ABC’s Greatest Hits this Thursday, July 14, Chicago will perform a medley including two #1 hits, “Look Away” and “You’re The Inspiration,” with rising young star Aloe Blacc on vocals.

Chicago was the house band at the famous (and infamous) Whisky A Go Go on the Sunset Strip for quite a while when they began their career almost a half century ago. The Whisky is also where Jimi Hendrix first saw them and then took them on tour. Chicago were reunited with the LA venue when the TV show, CBS Sunday Morning, interviewed them there for a special segment scheduled to air this Sunday, July 17. Included in the segment will be performance from the band’s three sold out concerts during the July 4th weekend at the Hollywood Bowl with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.

In addition to their other national and international dates, Chicago will continue their very popular and successful tour with Earth, Wind & Fire, which will take place in October and November throughout Canada and in the U.S.

With February, 2017, only months away, Chicago is sprinting into their 50th year and very excited to celebrate this milestone.
