NewTown will join Bill Cody and Charlie Mattos live in the studio tomorrow, July 29, for WSM-AM's Coffee, Country & Cody Show at 8:30 a.m. CT.  Fans can tune in via www.wsmonline.com or catch the simulcast on Heartland TV to hear select songs from HARLAN ROAD.  Heartland TV reaches 22 MILLION households; check out local listings online at http://www.watchheartlandtv.com/affiliates/.

Produced by multi-Grammy Award winner Barry Bales, HARLAN ROAD is being hailed as the band's most-impressive outing yet, with BBC Radio Kent's Dave Cash calling it "the best Bluegrass" he's heard in years. ParcBench.com's Greg Victor notes the disc "demands attention from those who love the genre," while Danny McCloskey of The Alternate Rootstates that "HARLAN ROAD travels to the future with a modern take on tradition that gives Bluegrass a tomorrow."  One Stop Country astutely observes that the band "is not afraid to take some risks that stretch the boundaries ... but they know the perfect moments to reel it in and keep the purists satisfied."

Award-winning fiddler Kati Penn and her husband, respected banjo player Jr. Williams trade off lead vocals and add superior pickin' to the project.  Rounding out the band are: Travis Anderson (bass), Mitchell Cannon (mandolin) and Hayes Griffin (guitar).  Between them, they bring Jazz, Bluegrass and Contemporary disciplines to the music, completing NewTown's extraordinarily diverse and textured sound.
