‘“yes girl” is about having a relationship with anybody who is incredibly controlling,” says Bea. “It’s about overcoming that and realizing you don’t need them in your life anymore.”  The video features Bea in an all-white room, clad only in a knitted sweater that unravels as disembodied arms pull at the thread. “The strings are representative of people in my life who need things from me constantly, who make me feel like I’m tied down to [them] in a literal sense. The video visually brings that feeling and struggle to life,” she explains.

“yes girl,” was released in May, is available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, streaming platforms and YouTube.

Co-written by Bea, Ilsey (Beyoncé, Drake), Pop & Oak (Nicki Minaj, Alessia Cara) and produced by Pop & Oak, “yes girl” showcases Miller’s powerful, raspy vocal range and her willingness to explore the emotions of a complicated relationship. The song captures Bea musically and lyrically with its message: I could tell you what you want to hear / Cause the truth is always in the way / I never wanna live in fear / I don’t wanna hold back all the things I need to say.

While the New Jersey born Miller is currently co-writing and recording her sophomore album, (working with some of the top songwriters and producers from Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, Sir Nolan,  Jesse Shatkin and Pop & Oak, to Ilsey and Nick Jonas to name a few), she took a break this past weekend to join Demi Lovato on stage during Lovato and Nick Jonas’ Future Now tour to perform a special “Yes Girl” duet with the superstar with whom she toured in 2014.  Bea kicked off 2016 touring with Selena Gomez and DNCE on the 2016 Revival Tour across North American.  On July 24, 2015, Bea released her debut album, Not An Apology, which debuted #7 on the Billboard 200, #1 on the iTunes Pop chart and featured the gold certified  hit single “Fire N Gold” and “Young Blood.” Not An Apology is available for download HERE and streaming HERE.
