LOS ANGELES | August 19, 2016: Los Angeles-based drummer and producer Dylan Taylor has been turning heads in the YouTube community by creating unparalleled covers which combine his passion for drumming with EDM music; garnering nearly 12 Million views to date. Taylor recently dropped the first track off his debut EP G.R.A.V.E.S.[to be released 9/2/16], titled "Lost Hearts" which features Cameron Byrd of Hollywood Ending, getting fans excited for more. Today, Dylan Taylor is proud to release a new track off the EP, "Hurricane" featuring the iconic voice of The Ready Set's Jordan Witzigreuter who states: "When Dylan sent me the basic version of this track, I wrote to it and had it done in maybe 20 minutes - it was one of those songs that came out supernatural, which is rare.  It's got this uplifting type of vibe that I love - I always gravitate toward that style of writing. I've been listening to Dylan's tracks for a while now,  and I think the hybrid of this type of production with live drum elements is something that's rare in dance music which makes the whole thing stand out." - Jordan Witzigreuter

This is what Dylan Taylor had to say about the track: "The theme behind 'Hurricane' is something that everyone experiences and sees everyday. People addicted to technology, always on their phone, even when you're out in a social environment. With things like the PokemonGo release, or girls aiming to gain followers by their endless selfies, I wish people would look around them and be thankful of what they have right in front of them. Live in the moment, not on the Internet."

Beginning his drumming under the instruction of the highly acclaimed John Miceli (Meat Loaf), Taylor later relocated to Los Angeles & was discovered by Wes Borland(Limp Bizkit) through his videos. During his time in Los Angeles, Taylor began to expand his production knowledge to better incorporate all elements of the technical side of creating electronic music, while still growing as a songwriter and player doing session work on the drums. Today, Taylor's EDM/ Live Drums experiment projects a unique style of music considered Electronic and Rock, but with an edge that people wouldn't expect to hear in a club atmosphere. Bringing something very unique into the EDM music world, Taylor adds a live drum performance to his songs, rather than it being entirely computer-based. Inspiration from several artists and genres can be heard in Dylan Taylor's sound, ranging from EDM artists like Zedd and Calvin Harris to alternative acts like The 1975 and Bon Iver. His forthcoming debut EP, G.R.A.V.E.S features collaborations on 3 out of 5 of the tracks with notable artists such as Jordan Witzigreuter (The Ready Set), Cameron Byrd (Hollywood Ending), and Matthew Beilis.
