The video for the song, which Stereogum hailed as “grand, expansive, occasionally ferocious math-metal”, will undoubtedly strike a nerve with viewers in light of recent events. With the help of director Oleg Rooz (http://olegrooz.com) the video makes a statement with its fast-cut clips of GTO’s impassioned performance of “Crucifixion” interwoven with footage of historical events that transformed society. From political protests to Hitler and Fidel Castro speeches, war zones, riots, and more, the poetry in the visuals juxtaposed with the urgency of GTO’s manic music and William DuVall’s lyrics, “I swear by the light you tried to snuff out in my soul that I will one day see you hanging from the cross you built for me,” illicit a profound emotional response. Giraffe Tongue Orchestra will make their live debut at Reading and Leeds in the UK and will play a number of dates in the US toward the end of 2016. Each member will be on tour with his ‘other band’ throughout the summer and fall – with Alice In Chains hitting the road alongside Guns N Roses and headlining in North America through October, Dillinger Escape Plan playing dates in August throughout the US, and Mastodon performing abroad this summer.

The band has put together a PledgeMusic campaign to celebrate the launch of the album.  Limited edition items and experiences, including autographed signature series guitars and lyric sheets will be available for pledges. Visit http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/gto to explore the possibilities.

PARTY SMASHER INC: A network for cultural saboteurs of various disciplines – music, art, fashion, and beyond – Party Smasher was established by Weinman in 2009 as a way to unite and empower creative people doing things their own way. He explains: "I was well into my twenties, with a college degree and a corporate job, playing music with no intention of generating money or some massive fanbase. Before I had even realized it, I was making 100% of my living creating art. How did this happen? Because we ignored 'the rules.' It wasn't until I started living my artistic life with that mindset that I became a responsible creator – one who could move people through honest expression. And that is what Party Smasher Inc is all about. We are here to celebrate the artists that are following their own path, undeterred by the trends."
