Mackenzi tells TWIST, "'New Crush' is just a fun, honeymoon stage, butterflies, nothing can go wrong, kind of song. Nothing feels as magical as when you're first falling in love, and I tried to really capture that in the single. Basically when people listen to New Crush, I want them to have at least 3 minutes and 22 seconds of that innocent, magical, over-the-moon kind of happy, no matter what kind of day they're having." Fans can purchase the single now on iTunes.

Combining the theatrical flair of Britney Spears, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, with the world-class pop diva appeal of ArianaGrande, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato and delivering the vocal chops of a young Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston, Colorado-born Sonny Mackenzi has dreamed of singing, writing and performing from the age of three. She has already put in her requisite 10,000 hours, putting aside her successful career as a fashion model, while still a teenager, to head to Los Angeles, where she was discovered by veteran Warner Bros. Records A&R executive, Nick Haussling, who took her under his wing with plans to eventually sign her.

Mackenzi is already generating a buzz in the pop music world, with continuous spins on NBC's The Today Show, and praise fromTheTopTens.com, who placed her at #3 for Best New Female Pop Artist.

Fans can now follow the singer on all major social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Stay tuned for Sonny Mackenzi's debut EP, coming soon!
