Los Angeles, CA –Taiki Nulight, aka Erka Chinbayer, released his debut Dim Mak EP Into Darkness last year to a storm of praise, with Complex calling it, “A collection of tracks that perfectly sum up the feeling you get when you step into the club for the first time.” This summer Taiki Nulight takes his signature dark bass sound even further with his Sledge EP, premiered on Data Transmission. Hailing from Brighton, UK, he injects his unique take on the territory’s patented garage genre into five downright sinister bass-house tracks.

Over the last twelve months, Taiki Nulight has explored bass genres via a series of high-profile collaborations. Alongside excellent remixes for fellow Dim Mak artists R3LL and Shift K3Y, he released the collaboration EP Piano Cannon with Low Steppa on AC Slater’s Night Bass label, “Conflict” with Flava D on the recent FabricLive 88 release, “Everything I Need” with Lo’99 on the hotly-tipped German imprint This Ain’t Bristol and “BS3” with My Nu Lengon London-based MTA Records, which was featured on an episode of CSI.

Additionally, Taiki recently shared his UK bass-driven style with American audiences on his debut US Tour this past June. The dates took him through Denver, San Francisco, Austin, Seattle, Dallas, Albuquerque, and to festival stages at Electric Forest and EDC Las Vegas. With Sledge, the surging producer continues to push forward via a strong five track release that pulls from Bass, Garage, Tech and House influences, but ultimately showcases the inimitable Taiki Nulight trademark sound we’ve all come to know and love.
